Hi, my name is Karina N. I am a 23-year-old Puerto Rican who recently became a Chemist. I am an animal lover, tattoo lover and a curly hair enthusiast. My favorite pastimes include watching the office and any marvel production, going to the movies, and visiting the beach. I love spending time with my loved ones but am also a person who appreciates being alone (introverts where y’all at?) In my free time I also enjoy creating art. With Ambrosia, I hope I can share that passion and enthusiasm with other people and their loved ones.
What is Ambrosia?
The word “ambrosia” is of Greek origin, meaning “food of the gods” In Greek and Roman mythology, the gods consumed ambrosia in order to regain their strength and power. Most recently, author Rick Riordan added meaning to this meal of the gods. In his novels Riordan established that heroes of the gods’ descent consumed ambrosia in the same way of the gods, only that each person would taste it as their favorite meal or their current craving. We thought “Ambrosia” to be a fitting name for us because it embodies what we stand for. Through personalization, we make things our own, and bring ourselves strength.
What inspired us to open our doors?
The economy. Haha just kidding… well maybe. Truly, opened our doors because we love art. As someone who loves creating unique gifts. One of my biggest joys is gift giving, I enjoy putting time into creating something that I know others will appreciate. I pour myself into projects and work to make personalized items that are special, unique to you and your preference. There is nothing as heartwarming as watching a receiver show enthusiasm and pure joy once they realize the dedication put into what I made them. In other words I enjoy making people feel good.
